Telangana has released Rs 2,000 crore for land acquisition and rehabilitation linked to stalled irrigation projects, with Rs 3,000 crore more assured by Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy, Irrigation Minister N Uttam Kumar Reddy said on Saturday. Officials were told to prioritise land, forest and environment clearances and restart works on the Mid Manair Left Bank Canal.
