Telangana physiotherapist P. Aishwaryarani has secured a job in Germany with a starting salary of Rs 3.5 lakh a month, or about Rs 42 lakh annually, through the Telangana Overseas Manpower Company (TOMCOM). She approached TOMCOM for overseas opportunities and completed German language training up to the B2 level, a requirement for placement in Germany’s healthcare sector, The Hindu reports. Labour and Employment Minister G. Vivek Venkatswamy handed her the appointment letter. TOMCOM said her remuneration could rise after she completes mandatory professional training and certification requirements. The minister said the Telangana government aims to expand overseas employment by combining skills training, language proficiency and placement support.
