Telangana will host the second Telangana Rising Global Summit from December 7 to 9, 2026, the State Cabinet decided, The Hindu BusinessLine reports. The event will use the theme ‘Invest in Telangana’ and unveil plans for Bharat Future City, the proposed net-zero smart city. At an Independence Day address, Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy said Telangana’s per capita income reached Rs 4,18,931 in 2025-26, around 91% above the national average, citing Reserve Bank of India data. He set targets of a $1 trillion State economy by 2034 and $3 trillion by 2047, and said investments worth Rs 1.29 lakh crore had been secured through TG-iPASS.
