In a letter on August 11, Niranjan said some communities have been waiting since 2008. The matter was first raised with the PM on April 13. After that, the Union Social Justice Ministry sought details, which Telangana forwarded on July 18. The Ministry later stated that any inclusion must follow Article 342A of the Constitution.
