The cheque was presented by TGSRTC Vice-Chairman Y Naga Reddy along with Union Bank of India officials at Bus Bhavan in Hyderabad. Mudar, attached to the Korutla depot, met with the accident on October 9, 2025, when his bus rammed into a parked lorry near Kukunoorpally around 4.15 am. The financial assistance came through a free accident insurance cover linked to the UBI super salary savings account held by all TGSRTC employees.
