THANE: Residents from Diva, Mumbra, and Kalwa, along with Rupadevi Pada, Kisan Nagar No. 2, Nehru Nagar in the Wagle Estate ward, and Kolshet villages near Majiwada, will face water cuts for 24 hours starting at 12 PM on Thursday, May 22, 2025.The cuts are necessary as the Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation will undergo essential maintenance and repair work at its Jambhul Water Treatment plant.Accordingly, the Thane corporation has appealed to residents to store water in advance, considering the supply will continue at low pressure for some time after the maintenance and repair work ends on Friday afternoon.
