Kanagavel, an auto-rickshaw driver, allegedly identified locked houses during his trips. The victim, M. Ambika (70), was visiting her son in Chengalpattu when a tenant alerted her about a broken door. Police tracked the suspects through CCTV footage and mobile signals, recovering the stolen jewellery.
