The vehicle was travelling from Mukteshwar towards Nainital when the driver reportedly lost control on a winding stretch, causing it to skid and roll down. A joint rescue operation involving the SDRF, NDRF, local police, revenue department, and residents evacuated victims. The injured were taken to Sushila Tiwari Government Hospital in Haldwani. The deceased have been identified as Pradeep (26), Sumit (25), both from Faridabad, and Abhishek.
