# Mahesh Babu turns 51, Varanasi stills reveal Rudhra

Telugu superstar Mahesh Babu thanked fans, family and colleagues for their birthday wishes on Monday, saying his heart was full. The actor posted on social media: "Heart is full reading all your wishes. Truly overwhelmed in ways words can't express." He promised to keep working hard and called his upcoming film with SS Rajamouli "something special." On his birthday, the makers of Varanasi released two stills showing his character Rudhra in Africa. One frame shows Rudhra on a bamboo raft in a jungle, the other places him in Kenya's Maasai Mara among giraffes. Director Rajamouli said shooting near Kilimanjaro stunned him. The film releases worldwide on April 7 next year in IMAX.
