# Yash’s Toxic gets A certificate, soundtrack unveiled ahead of 2026 release

Yash-starrer Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups has received an A certificate from the Central Board of Film Certification, 123telugu.com reports. Directed by Geetu Mohandas, the film is reportedly set in Goa after Independence, during Portuguese rule, and follows a father-son revenge story. The action drama is scheduled for a worldwide theatrical release on August 26, 2026. The film’s multilingual soundtrack was launched in Mumbai, with Yash, Kiara Advani, Tara Sutaria, Rukmini Vasanth and Huma Qureshi attending, Bollywood Hungama reports. The album includes songs in Hindi, Kannada, Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam. M9.news reports that Yash said he and Mohandas took extra care of Advani during filming because she was pregnant, describing them jokingly as her “bouncers and bodyguards”.
