The trailer of Yash's 'Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups' was released on Saturday, showcasing a period action thriller set in Goa from the 1940s to 1970s. Yash plays a ruthless mobster named Raya, whose relationship with his son Ticket drives the plot. The film also stars Nayanthara, Kiara Advani, Huma Qureshi, Tara Sutaria, and Rukmini Vasanth. At the trailer launch, Yash revealed the film was shot for 200 days in two versions, English and Kannada, and dismissed repeated rumours that the project had been shelved.
