US President Donald Trump has threatened long-term jail sentences for officials who leaked reports about depleted American munitions stocks during the Iran war. He called the disclosures treasonous, while denying that the US faces a serious weapons shortage. The Times of India reports that Trump acknowledged some advanced munitions were in tighter supply, but said less-advanced weapons were virtually unlimited. The Washington Post, as reported by Hindustan Times, said US forces used more than 850 Tomahawk missiles, 1,000 Patriot and THAAD interceptors, and 1,300 ATACMS missiles.
