# Two die as temple chariot touches live wire in Perambalur

Two men died and one was injured when an iron temple chariot being moved into the Ayyanar temple compound touched a live overhead wire in Nannai village, Perambalur district, on Thursday night. The deceased were identified as P. Annadurai, 43, and G. Paramasivam, 42. K. Rasu, 50, is being treated at Perambalur Government Hospital. The accident took place around 8.30 pm when the three were moving the newly built chariot. The Kunnam police are investigating.
