Corroboration: 2 independent outlets

Two separate student suicides in Telangana have led to protests and demands for action. A first-year student at Moinabad's J B Institute of Engineering and Technology (JBIET), identified as Vaishnavi, died by suicide on 3 November in her hometown of Wanaparthy, allegedly due to harassment by professors Venkat Reddy and Upendar. Siasat.com reports that the professors have been suspended, but no case has been registered in Moinabad as the death occurred in Wanaparthy. On Saturday, 7 November, a student at Amrutha Hotel Management College in Hyderabad's SR Nagar was found hanging at the college, according to Telangana Today. Fellow students protested, alleging harassment by the principal and demanding an impartial inquiry. Police are investigating both cases.

## Indian Opinion Analysis

The two outlets report entirely separate incidents, so there is no conflict or shared framing to compare. Each source presents a straightforward account of a student suicide followed by protests, attributing allegations to students or police without editorial commentary. Both adopt a neutral-report stance, sticking to facts such as names, dates, and official actions. The key difference is the subject: Siasat.com covers an engineering college suicide with named professors suspended, while Telangana Today covers a hotel management college death with allegations against the principal still under verification. Without overlapping coverage, the uniform approach is straight reporting of distinct events. Police investigations are ongoing in both cases.
