Six cases were registered by Malayalapuzha police and one by Perunad police. The alleged incidents reportedly took place at different times since she was in Class 5. Two people, including the owner of her rented house, have been arrested. Five others were booked, including her father, who is abroad. One accused has died. Police have completed the girl’s medical examination and a magistrate has recorded her statement.
