# Thailand school shooting leaves four dead in Nonthaburi

Thailand’s Education Minister Prasert Chantararuangthong said at least four people, including teachers and students, were killed in a shooting at Debsirin Nonthaburi School on Friday. The school is in Bang Kruai district, north-west of Bangkok. Earlier, police told Reuters that a teacher was killed, four people were injured and the student suspected of opening fire died by suicide. Other reports put the number of injured at 10 to 15, including at least 10 students. Police have secured the campus and are investigating the shooting. Authorities have not announced a motive or released the suspect’s identity.
