Hindustan Times reports that Army personnel Rakesh Kumar, 36, and his friend Nitin, 22, died after an SUV hit a tree and overturned near Bagad turn in Jhunjhunu late Tuesday. Two others were injured, and families alleged that the vehicle’s six airbags failed to open. The Hans India reports that Army Major Hamza Arif died after an SUV struck a camel near the Thaiyat Army area in Jaisalmer early Friday. Lieutenants Ayushman and Abhinav Rathore were seriously injured. Police and Military Police are investigating.
