# 2 killed as KSRTC bus rams signboard on Bengaluru-Mysuru Expressway

Two people died and 20 were injured when a KSRTC bus from Kozhikode to Bengaluru lost control in rain and crashed into a large directional signboard on the Bengaluru-Mysuru Expressway near Avaragere Gate on Saturday. The driver, Mithilesh, and conductor, Arun, died on the spot. Four travellers are critical, the Assamtribune reports. The bus overturned after hitting the signboard, which also collapsed. Traffic was severely affected. Bidadi police have registered a case. In a separate accident on the same expressway in March, four passengers were killed.
