# Two postal employees injured in NH-44 crash near Banihal 2026-08-06T18:42:12+00:00 | India | Indian Opinion Desk Corroboration: 1 independent outlet Two postal department employees were injured after a car allegedly crossed into the wrong lane and hit their motorcycle on NH-44 near Wagan Sherbibi in Banihal, Ramban district, around 12.30 pm on Thursday, police said. The car was travelling from Ramban towards Banihal, while the motorcycle was heading towards Ramban. Rider Sahib Khan, from Mewat in Haryana, suffered injuries, while pillion rider Yawer Bashir Malik sustained minor injuries. Both were taken to Sub-District Hospital Banihal and were stable, hospital sources said. Banihal MLA Sajjad Shaheen, Agriculture Minister Javed Ahmad Dar and National Conference leader Nasir Aslam Wani joined the rescue effort.
