Carmela Chillery-Watson, an 11-year-old from the UK, received an MBE from Prince William at Windsor Castle on December 10, 2025, becoming the youngest person ever to hold the honour. Guinness World Records confirmed she was 11 years and 78 days old when the award was announced in June 2025. Diagnosed with a rare muscle-wasting condition at age four, she has raised over £400,000 for Muscular Dystrophy UK through about 25 campaigns.
