# Ukraine’s ballistic missiles could hit Moscow by fall, Zelenskyy says

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said domestically made ballistic missiles could be combat-ready within two to three months, with a larger version capable of hitting Moscow expected by late fall. Speaking on 8 August, he warned that Russia may deploy 30,000 to 50,000 North Korean troops, adding that North Korean missiles have already been found in Ukraine. The same day, Russian overnight attacks on Kyiv and the surrounding region killed four people, including a three-year-old child, and injured eight others, according to Ukrainian authorities.
