# Uli Latukefu Reportedly Cast as Ganondorf in Zelda Film

Australian actor Uli Latukefu has reportedly joined Sony and Nintendo’s live-action The Legend of Zelda film as Ganondorf, the fantasy series’ main villain. Deadline, cited by Hindustan Times, reports that Latukefu has also signed a multi-picture deal. Sony has not confirmed the casting. The film already stars Bo Bragason as Princess Zelda and Benjamin Evan Ainsworth as Link. Wes Ball will direct, with Shigeru Miyamoto and Avi Arad producing. The movie is scheduled for a theatrical release on May 7, 2027. Latukefu is known for Young Rock, Black Adam and Next Goal Wins.
