# Unicommerce Q1 profit rises 20% to Rs 4.7 crore

Unicommerce, an ecommerce SaaS firm, posted a 20% year-on-year increase in consolidated net profit for Q1 FY27 to Rs 4.7 crore, from Rs 3.9 crore in Q1 FY26. Sequentially, profit rose 37.5% from Rs 3.4 crore. Revenue from contracts with customers grew 14.3% to Rs 51.4 crore, though it dipped 0.5% from the previous quarter's Rs 51.6 crore. Total expenditure increased 19% YoY to Rs 48.2 crore. CEO Kapil Makhija attributed the growth to platform strength, execution discipline, and the opportunity ahead, noting double-digit growth in both Uniware and Shipway. Including other income of Rs 1.4 crore, total income stood at Rs 52.8 crore.
