Police have arrested Anuj Trivedi and his son Prakhar Trivedi. The complaint says Tiwari’s daughter Pragya married Prakhar in 2024 after the father claimed to be a Mumbai real estate businessman and concealed his criminal past. About two-and-a-half years later, the family learned of Prakhar’s alleged activities through social media. Tiwari accused Prakhar of cheating several women across Maharashtra and other states of crores of rupees. The MLA said he severed ties and brought his daughter back.
