# UP, Uttarakhand Agniveer recruitment rally from 5 Oct in Roorkee 2026-10-04T15:06:50+00:00 | India | Indian Opinion Desk Corroboration: 1 independent outlet The Agniveer recruitment rally for candidates from Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand will begin on Monday, 5 October, at Roorkee and continue until 12 October. The schedule has been released by the Central Command administration. Candidates from Lucknow will report on 10 October. Central Command public relations officer Shantanu Pratap Singh said that candidates who passed the written exam will participate in the next selection stage, which includes a rally run and physical test. Document verification will be conducted at the rally site. Candidates must bring all necessary documents, including admit card, Aadhaar, police character certificate, 20 passport-size colour photos, and certificates for educational qualification, domicile, caste, school character, religion, character, and unmarried status. NCC and sports certificates are also required. Three sets of photocopies of all original documents are mandatory. ## Indian Opinion Analysis The Central Command has set a tight eight-day window for the Agniveer rally, compressing a multi-district selection process into a single venue at Roorkee. Candidates from Lucknow get a specific date, 10 October, while others must track their slot from the schedule. The long list of required documents, from police character certificates to unmarried status proof, signals that verification will be thorough on-site. Applicants who lack any item risk elimination before the physical test begins. The next concrete step is the rally itself, starting 5 October. ## Coverage - amarujala.com Straight factual listing of dates, documents and venue without slant This brief was synthesised by AI from the source linked above.
