The US reported the most attacks on Indian nationals abroad between 2021 and 2025, with 33 cases, the Ministry of External Affairs told Parliament on Thursday. The UAE saw 32 incidents, the UK 31 and Canada 30, while Ireland recorded 24. The data, covering 36 countries, was tabled in the Rajya Sabha by minister of state Kirti Vardhan Singh. Singh said the safety of Indians abroad is the government’s top priority and that missions remain vigilant. He added that all incidents are taken up with host-country authorities for investigation and punishment of perpetrators under local laws.
