# US users can now pay for Google Play with Venmo

Google Play users in the US can now pay for apps, games, subscriptions and in-app purchases using Venmo, the payment service owned by PayPal. The option lets users pay from their Venmo balance or from linked cards and bank accounts. To use it, customers must link their Venmo account to Google Play through the Payment methods section in the Play Store app. GSM Arena reports the move follows the addition of PayPal and Cash App, part of Google's push to broaden payment choices for Play purchases.
