Kayumova is wanted in a case registered in June 2025 after police found two Uzbek women living illegally in an apartment in Sushant Golf City. Police allege she brought women from Uzbekistan to India through Nepal on the pretext of jobs and pushed them into prostitution. According to police, Kayumova underwent seven cosmetic surgeries involving her face, lips, underarms and private parts to alter her appearance. DCP South Md Mushtaq said the Foreigners Regional Registration Office alerted police about her presence. Additional DCP South Vasanth Rallapalli said Kayumova allegedly continued living in India after her passport and visa expired and obtained Indian identity documents.
