# Vaishno Devi shrine board signs pact to boost women-led enterprises

The Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board has signed an MoU with the Jammu and Kashmir Rural Livelihoods Mission to create business opportunities for rural women's self help groups. The initiative follows directions from LG Manoj Sinha. Eligible SHGs will supply puja items, prasad, and other goods within the shrine ecosystem, leveraging the pilgrim economy in Katra-Reasi. JKRLM will identify and train the SHGs, while the board will facilitate procurement and share advance requirements to help groups plan production. The aim is to strengthen women-led rural enterprises and boost household incomes.
