Corroboration: 1 independent outlet (2 source reports)

Director Vassishta claimed at Chiranjeevi's birthday celebrations that his upcoming film Vishwambhara, delayed multiple times, will be a big box office hit. The film starring Chiranjeevi has no confirmed release date yet. m9.news reports that Vassishta's comments raise concerns about overconfidence, given the film's long delay and heavy VFX work. The same outlet also notes that two other big-budget films Swayambhu and Vrushakarma face similar release date uncertainty due to post-production demands. The team is expected to announce a release date or share fresh promotional material soon. For now, the film itself will ultimately determine whether the director's confidence is justified.

## Indian Opinion Analysis

In this case, both sources are from m9.news, which our past analyses show as sensationalist 86% of the time. The first source frames Vassishta's comments as crossing from confidence into overconfidence, creating drama around an unconfirmed release date. The second source generalises the delay problem across three films but offers no new facts. Neither source provides concrete details: box office numbers, budget figures, or a specific release window. Both lean on speculation about audience patience and VFX quality. A measured reading suggests the coverage is overblown: delays in big-budget VFX-heavy films are routine, and no official statement from the makers contradicts them. Watch for a confirmed release date or teaser drop from any of the three films in the next quarter.
