# Vibe teaser out: Kunal Kemmu, Preity Zinta lead comedy 2026-08-21T17:32:57+00:00 | Entertainment | Indian Opinion Desk Corroboration: 2 independent outlets The teaser of the upcoming action-comedy film Vibe was released on Friday, featuring Kunal Kemmu, Sparsh Shrivastava and Preity G Zinta in lead roles. Directed by Kemmu, the film follows two ordinary friends who are thrust into a mission to protect the country. The teaser presents them as unlikely heroes who are neither trained nor prepared for what lies ahead. Preity Zinta appears in a key role as a confident woman leading the operation. India Today reports that the film blends action, comedy and chaos. Vibe is produced by Kemmu and Chirag Nihalani under Drongo Films, and is scheduled for theatrical release on September 18. The cast also includes debutant Vanshika Dhir, Dinesh Lal Yadav and Yashpal Sharma. ## Indian Opinion Analysis India Today provides a straightforward cast-and-release report, while m9.news frames the teaser through box-office expectations, comparing it to Kemmu's previous sleeper hit Madgaon Express and raising doubts about its performance. The m9.news piece leans sensationalist, using phrases like "some miracle" and "create some kind of record," and speculates about competition. The measured takeaway is that the teaser has generated interest, but a stronger trailer will likely determine the film's reception. The September 18 release date is the concrete next step to watch. ## Coverage Coverage: 2 sources, 1 neutral, 1 sensationalist - indiatoday.in (neutral report) Straight news-style cast and release details without framing or hype - m9.news (sensationalist) Frames story through box-office speculation and comparison to earlier hit This story was synthesised by AI from the 2 sources linked above.
