Corroboration: 2 independent outlets

Former YSRCP Rajya Sabha member V. Vijayasai Reddy is preparing a political comeback and is expected to launch a new party within days. As part of his public outreach, he announced visits to two families in Rajahmundry linked to recent deaths, alleging religious conversion and describing one case as 'love jihad.' Reddy said he would visit the family of Panchayat Raj engineer Nookaraju, who died after jumping into the Godavari, and the family of 10-year-old Riansh Reddy, who lost his parents and grandparents. Police have arrested gym trainer Sadiq Khan in connection with conversion allegations. Greatandhra.com reports Reddy's moves are seen as early signs of his political direction, possibly appealing to both the BJP's religious narrative and Reddy community voters. M9.news adds that Reddy has attacked Jagan as incompetent and promises to expose 'religious politics' during the YSRCP and NDA regimes, though it notes NDA claims are speculative.

## Indian Opinion Analysis

Greatandhra.com frames Sai Reddy's outreach as calculated political positioning: a new party aiming to court both the BJP narrative on religious conversion and the Reddy community. M9.news, true to its sensationalist style, blows up the personal attack on Jagan and hypes imminent 'exposures' without sourcing them, it even admits the NDA claims are speculation but still leads with them. Both outlets accept Sai Reddy's allegation of a 'love jihad' death as fact, neither reports Jagan's or the NDA's denial or any contrary evidence. The measured read: Sai Reddy is using a raw family tragedy to rebrand himself as a crusader, and neither outlet is questioning his motive or verifying his claim. Watch for his party launch date, expected within days, and whether Jagan responds with evidence rebutting the religious-politics charge.
