The figure makes it the actor’s second-biggest opener, behind Kanguva’s reported Rs 40 crore. The film benefited from strong audience word-of-mouth despite modest advance bookings. The Telugu states delivered a bigger opening than Tamil Nadu, according to 123telugu.com.
