# Vi plans Rs 45,000 crore capex, enters FY27 with clarity

Vodafone Idea Chairman Kumar Mangalam Birla said the telecom operator has entered FY27 with greater financial clarity and renewed capacity to invest. The company plans a Rs 45,000 crore capital investment programme over FY27 to FY29 for network expansion. Vi's AGR liability was finalised at Rs 64,046 crore, down from a provisional Rs 87,695 crore, contributing to a one-time profit after tax of Rs 34,552 crore. Revenue rose 3% to Rs 44,873 crore in FY26, and ARPU reached Rs 190. The telco ended FY26 with 192.8 million subscribers. Discussions with lenders for long-term funding continue.
