Indian defence firm VTDS has partnered with Czech company DEUS Automation for technology transfer in small-calibre ammunition manufacturing. The agreement, announced on Thursday, is one of the first major tech-transfer collaborations between India and the Czech Republic in this sector. VTDS, licensed by the Home Affairs Ministry, will gain access to advanced production technologies and precision engineering standards from DEUS Automation, a part of the STV Group. Founder and Managing Director Sahil Luthra said the partnership reflects VTDS's commitment to bringing global defence technologies to India through trusted international collaborations.
