WhatsApp is testing chat themes with animated wallpapers on iOS. The feature is available in the beta version 26.31.10.74 via TestFlight, as reported by WABetaInfo. Users will be able to choose from three categories: Featured (with animated wallpapers), Doodle (doodle patterns), and Minimal (plain background). The update will also let users match wallpaper and message-bubble colours per chat. The feature is currently in development and has not been rolled out to the public.
