A woman passenger damaged airport equipment worth Rs 49,000 at Bhubaneswar's Biju Patnaik International Airport after her IndiGo flight to Kolkata was cancelled. The passenger, Mamoni Kharat, allegedly broke a monitor, keyboard, and passport-swiping machine, leading to an FIR at the Airfield police station. The incident occurred around 6 pm on Thursday after flight 6E 7352 was cancelled due to a technical snag. Passengers alleged they were informed of the cancellation only around 5:30 pm, hours after the scheduled 2:35 pm departure, Times Now reports. IndiGo said it provided regular updates, refreshments, accommodation, and refunds. Kharat was declared unruly and handed to security agencies.
