# Odisha woman dies after injection at Rayagada medical store

A 55-year-old woman died after allegedly receiving a wrong injection at a medical store in Odisha's Rayagada district on Thursday. Police detained the man who administered the injection, identified as A K Bhadra, for questioning. Baidehi Kumar of Getipada village had been suffering from fever and cold. She went to a medicine store at JK Pur, where Bhadra allegedly gave her an injection. She suffered severe adverse reactions soon after and died on the way to Rayagada district headquarters hospital. Her family lodged a complaint. Police said the exact cause of death will be known after the post-mortem.
