: In a major accident, a woman lost her life when a trailer overturned onto a moving SUV in the

Kopaganj

area of

Mau district

on Friday evening. The accident caused a long traffic jam on the four-lane road. The police worked to remove the trailer and restore normal traffic flow.
According to reports, the accident occurred on the four-lane road in Kachi Kala, under the Kopaganj police station area of Mau district. A trailer suddenly went out of control and fell onto a moving SUV, causing chaos in the area.
According to police, the incident took place near a bend at Kachhikala village, where the SUV heading towards Varanasi was crushed under the weight of the trailer, which lost control and flipped onto it.
The woman, identified as

(65), and her son

Prashant Pandey

(36), both residents of Varanasi, were trapped inside the vehicle and had to be brought out using a bulldozer and a

Hydra

crane.
The two were rushed to the district hospital, where doctors declared Gayatri dead on arrival. Prashant was referred to a higher medical facility due to the severity of his injuries. The mother-son duo was returning to Varanasi after visiting their ancestral village in Surajpur when the accident took place.
