Workshop Explores ‘Print and Tradition’ in Kochi

A two-day workshop on ‘Print and Tradition’ was held at the Sree Sankaracharya University of Sanskrit, Kalady.

Veena Naregal, Professor of Sociology at the Institute of Economic Growth, New Delhi, inaugurated the workshop, which was jointly organised by the Kerala Council for Historical Research and the Department of History of the university.

K. N. Ganesh presided over the inaugural session.

Susan Thomas, Head of the Department of History at the university, and Manu V. Devadevan, Associate Professor of History at IIT Mandi, also spoke.

Academicians including Rita Kothari, Umakanta Mishra, Dinyar Patel, Prachi Deshpande, John Thomas, Saumya Malviya, and K. M. Sheeba made presentations.
