Nikita Bier has stepped down as Head of Product at Elon Musk-owned X after about a year in the role, and will remain with the platform as an adviser. The Hindu reports that Bier said he needed to “take a breather” from the 24/7 job, while continuing to post on X. He joined the company in July 2025. Bier credited the team with rebuilding the timeline, Android app, onboarding and notifications, and launching nearly 30 products. He also claimed that new users and engagement were growing at record levels, with X climbing 70 places in the App Store since the same time last year.
