# Yamaha RayZR 125 gets TFT screen, prices start at Rs 79,880 2026-08-19T11:55:31+00:00 | Business & Economy | Indian Opinion Desk Corroboration: 1 independent outlet Yamaha has updated the RayZR 125 scooter in India with a new TFT instrument cluster and a refreshed colour palette. The TFT screen, which adds turn-by-turn navigation, is exclusive to the top-spec Street Rally TFT variant priced at Rs 1,00,440 (ex-showroom). The base Drum and Disc variants, priced at Rs 79,880 and Rs 87,680 respectively, continue with the previous instrument setup. The Street Rally variant also has an LCD version at Rs 93,930. The standard RayZR Drum comes only in Metallic Black, while the Disc adds Dark Matte Blue and Ice Fluo Vermillion. The Street Rally TFT gets a Matte Titan shade exclusive to it. Mechanically, the 125cc air-cooled engine producing 8 bhp and 10.3 Nm remains unchanged, along with 21 litres of underseat storage and a starter motor generator. ## Indian Opinion Analysis The 125cc scooter segment in India is intensely competitive, with Honda, Suzuki, and now Yamaha all offering TFT clusters. TVS and Hero MotoCorp remain the only major players without a single-piece TFT screen on their 125cc scooters, which could pressure them to respond. For Yamaha, the RayZR Street Rally TFT's Rs 1 lakh price tag puts it directly against the top variants of the Honda Activa 125 and Suzuki Access 125. The next signal to watch is whether TVS or Hero announce a TFT-equipped model in the coming months. ## Coverage - timesnownews.com Straightforward specification and price list update with no editorial slant.
