Actor Yash has explained why he did not attend the funeral of a 25-year-old fan who died by suicide in Karnataka in 2021. Speaking on 'Aap Ki Adalat', Yash said he feared his presence would encourage others to take extreme steps to get his attention. The fan, Ramakrishna, had left a note requesting Yash and former chief minister Siddaramaiah to attend his funeral. Siddaramaiah attended, but Yash stayed away. Yash added he would rather meet fans who achieve something positive. The film 'Toxic', directed by Geetu Mohandas, is set for release on August 26, 2026.
