# Yash says Toxic is made for Gen Z, defends mature content

Kannada actor Yash has defended Toxic after criticism of its teaser and the song Tabaahi, saying vulgarity is wrong but mature scenes can be presented aesthetically. Speaking on Aap Ki Adalat, he said the Geetu Mohandas-directed film reflects Gen Z’s questions about older generations, fixed rules and accepted ways of living. “Toxic is for Gen Z,” Yash said. The film stars Yash with Kiara Advani, Nayanthara, Tara Sutaria, Rukmini Vasanth and Huma Qureshi. It marks his return nearly four years after KGF 2 and is scheduled for worldwide release on August 26, 2026. TeluguCinema.com said Yash’s remark about not kissing anyone left unclear whether he meant the film or released promotional material.
