# Yash stops security from dragging fan, wins hearts online 2026-08-25T02:21:53+00:00 | Entertainment | Indian Opinion Desk Corroboration: 1 independent outlet Kannada star Yash intervened to stop his security from dragging away a fan trying to take a selfie during the pre-release event for his upcoming film Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown-Ups in Hyderabad. The actor posed for the selfie and signed autographs, with co-star Huma Qureshi seen smiling. A video of the incident went viral, with users calling him a "real hero" and a "man with golden heart." Separately, Yash paused the event after stage equipment collapsed and fans tried to climb speaker stands. He asked them to focus on their safety. Toxic, directed by Geetu Mohandas, features Yash in a double role alongside Nayanthara, Kiara Advani, and others. It releases on August 26. ## Indian Opinion Analysis Yash's fan gesture comes as his film Toxic enters final promotion weeks. His last release, KGF Chapter 2, earned over Rs 1000 crore globally in 2022, making him one of India's highest-grossing actors. The fan interaction contrasts with typical high-security arrangements at star events, often enforced to prevent stampedes or security breaches. With Toxic releasing on August 26, such viral moments boost pre-release visibility organically. The film's gangster plot and double role will test Yash's appeal beyond the KGF franchise identity. The Karnataka box office, where his films traditionally dominate, now competes with pan-India releases from other industries. ## Coverage - hindustantimes.com Led with positive fan reaction, framed Yash as generous and humble This story was synthesised by AI from the source linked above.
