Corroboration: 4 independent outlets

Yash's upcoming gangster drama 'Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups' has recorded advance bookings of over Rs 25 crore across India for its opening day, according to trade reports. The Kannada version leads with Rs 14.5 crore, while the Hindi version has crossed Rs 11 crore in pre-sales, with Telugu bookings expected to open soon. Trade projections estimate a Rs 30 crore-plus opening day in North India alone. At a pre-release event in Hyderabad, producer Dil Raju said he initially doubted Yash's choice of director Geetu Mohandas but changed his mind after seeing the footage. Yash described the film as "bold, original, ambitious and path-breaking" and said it aims to take Indian cinema to a global audience. The film is set for a worldwide release on 26 August 2026.

## Indian Opinion Analysis

All four sources report the same event and box office figures without contradiction, making this a straight promotional story. The trade-focused tracktollywood.com leads with concrete booking numbers, while the other three outlets foreground Yash's and Dil Raju's statements from the pre-release event. The uniform positive framing reflects standard pre-release coverage, no source presents critical or alternate views. The key takeaway is the Rs 25 crore advance booking figure and the Rs 30 crore projected North India opening, which will test whether Yash can match or exceed K.G.F: Chapter 2's record.
