# Yatra profit plunges as EaseMyTrip posts Q1 loss

Online travel aggregator Yatra’s consolidated net profit fell 97.9% year-on-year to Rs 34 lakh in Q1 FY27, from nearly Rs 16 crore a year earlier, Inc42 reports. Revenue from operations declined 10.4% to Rs 187.9 crore, while expenses fell 3.6% to Rs 191.3 crore. EaseMyTrip reported a consolidated net loss of Rs 11.7 crore, against a profit of Rs 44 lakh in Q1 FY26. Its operating revenue rose 18.4% to Rs 134.7 crore, but expenses climbed 29.8% to Rs 152.7 crore. Service costs more than doubled to Rs 39.2 crore. Hotel packages revenue more than doubled, while air revenue fell 4%.
