Yuzvendra Chahal and Dhanashree Verma have been in the news due to their ongoing divorce proceedings. On Wednesday, the Bombay High Court waived off the 6-month cooling period and directed to announce the verdict at the earliest. The final decision is expected today, 20 March. Amid this, Dhanashree is also set to release a music video on the same day, adding a dramatic touch to the ending of their marriage.

Dhanashree Verma set to release a music video: Dekha Ji Dekha Maine

On March 19, T-Series released a poster for an upcoming music video featuring Dhanashree Verma. According to reports, the song, titled Dekha Ji Dekha Maine, is sung by Jyoti Nooran and will premiere at 11 am on March 20. This announcement follows the Bombay High Court’s decision to schedule the divorce ruling for March 20.

Dhanashree Verma and Yuzi Chahal’s divorce mishap

Dhanashree Verma and Yuzvendra Chahal, who married in December 2020, began living apart in June 2022 and are now nearing the final stages of their divorce. The Bombay High Court waived the six-month cooling period required under Section 13B of the Hindu Marriage Act. Since the Indian Premier League ( IPL ) is set to begin on 22 March, keeping Yuzvendra Chahal occupied, the court directed that the divorce decision be finalised by March 20.

The issue of alimony has sparked debate on social media. Earlier reports claimed that Chahal was paying Dhanashree ₹60 crore as alimony, but her family firmly denied these allegations. A relative stated, “We are deeply outraged by the baseless claims being circulated about the alimony figure. Let me be absolutely clear—no such amount has ever been asked, demanded, or even offered.” According to the latest reports, the alimony amount is closer to ₹5 crore, not the previously rumoured ₹60 crore.
