Zaid Darbar has said he confronted Kushal Tandon inside the Prime Video show Alliance after Kushal made a derogatory remark about his wife Gauahar Khan. The conversation was not aired. Zaid told Hindustan Times he spoke calmly to make Kushal understand why the comment hurt him. Kushal listened and apologised, Zaid said, adding that Kushal called him near the camera to speak and later said sorry. The two had been friendly inside the house despite Kushal’s past relationship with Gauahar. The show was won by Mini Mathur.
