Suparn S. Varma, known for The Family Man 2, directs the sequel. The film is produced by TG Vishwa Prasad and Krithi Prasad under People Media Factory. The glimpse, playing in reverse, shows a zombie falling from a flyover and Teja Sajja fighting hordes at Charminar. The video opens with a disclaimer that no AI was used. The sequel aims for a larger scale with more action. Real Star Upendra and Shanaya Kapoor join the cast. The film is scheduled for a 2027 release in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, Hindi, Nepali, and Japanese. Gowra Hari composes the music. Teja Sajja reprises his bespectacled look. The title logo resembles a video-game joystick.
